Today Barcelona played Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League Football Semi Final at Stamford Bridge.. I had my Stamford Bridge tee on and was cheering for my team..
Refereeing was an absolute blunder.. 4 penalties not given.. The last hand ball inside the box claim was a clear one where the Ref was right at the spot.. But dint give it..
Drogba and Chelsea missed many chances that came our way.. It cost them dear..
1-0 at halftime was good.. Barcelona were playing good football.. They were down to 10 men which was yet again another Refereeing mistake..
But Barca down to 10 men, Chelsea should have pushed more up on the offensive.. But chose to play defensive football.. And 90 mins over and were playing the last 4 mins of injury time.. Was just waiting to hear the final whistle and thinking about the finals with Man U in Rome..
Even the Barca Coach thought it was all over.. And saw him shake hands and put his arms around Hiddink.. Was a lovely sight to see..
But Iniesta and Barca had other plans.. He scored a stunner and it did bring tears into the eyes of many.. Iniesta did deserve to score for the kind of football he played all night.. But then would have liked to see a 2-1 scoreline in favour of Chelsea.. Wasn't to be so..
A Barca pulled off a great victory.. They played well..
All the post match drama by the Chelsea players was not required.. Drogba and Ballack just went over board..
Was tough.. Heart breaking to see this..
Just hope they go on to beat the Red Devils..
